Detailed instructions will be included with the kit. Below is a quick summary of the steps for creating the night light.

Build the Stage (box base)

  1. If unfinished wood option was selected, sand all surfaces.
  2. If finished option was selected, sand the connecting edges only.
  3. Add glue to all connecting edges.
  4. Use clamps or masking tape to hold box together while glue dries.

Paint the Acrylic Lenses

  1. While waiting for box to dry, use the plastic razor to scrape the paper masking off the acrylic lenses.
  2. Clean the lenses with rubbing alcohol and soft lint-free cloth to remove any remaining glue.
  3. Paint each of the acrylic lenses with acrylic paint or acrylic paint markers, taking care not to paint over the engraved lines.

Light it up

  1. Flip or click the switch to power the LED light on.
  2. Place the LED light into the stage.
  3. Place your painted lenses into the slots on top of the stage.
  4. Swap the lenses around until you are happy with your scene.
  5. Use the remote control to choose a color or color pattern of the LED light.
  6. Sit back and enjoy!
